An ode to Australian tradies, this nostalgic campaign is a remake of classic Australian folk song Click Goes the Shears. Highlighting the backbone of the Australian market, the spot focuses on a series of tradies (or tradespeople) in their unique worlds: a landscaper, a painter, an electrician, a carpenter, a plumber, and a handyman.
With a hint of humor, we watch as our tradies bring their attention to physical craft into the digital world.

3 Months
Sticking to the nostalgic roots of our inspiration, the entire campaign is shot on film. However we ensured the brands of the businesses themselves were designed with modern elements in mind — expressive fonts, sharp colors — so the campaign can feel timeless and relevant.
In addition to the main cut, we created a satirical infomercial that doubles-down on the 90s aesthetic. This cut specifically addresses helpful product features that any business can use.
Finally we created a series of posters and OOH to round out the campaign, and reach our tradies in their own environment. These lived organically on streets and billboards.
